摘要
艺术的总体共性、总的特征为经 ,艺术学的基本分支为纬。艺术学的任务是用经线将音乐、美术等的专门研究与纬线织在一起 ,即具体的艺术各有特点 ,通过理论的抽象将它们联系起来 ,找出人文的共性。只有艺术的经纬交织 ,才能编织出艺术学。这是艺术学人的历史责任。
Suppose the commonness and the general characteristics of arts are like the “longitudes”, and the basic branches of arts the “latitudes”. The task of arts is to use the “longitudes” and the “latitudes” to weave music and Fine Arts. That is to say, the specific art with its characteristics is related by the theoretical abstract so as to find the commonness of humanities. As long as the “longitude” and “latitude” are interlaced with each other, arts are surely weaved. It is the duty of the scholars of arts.
