In this paper, the double-walled carbon nanotubes and well-aligned carbon nanotubes were prepared by catalytic pyrolysis of a carbon source. The surface morphology of the sample was examined using SEM and HRTEM.The space between fasces of double-walled carbon nanotubes was very small and the surface was attached by some amorphous carbond and catalyzer impurity.
