摘要
“合作原则”和“礼貌原则”作为语用学中的两个基本语用原则相互补充,构成社会交际的基本理论。文章从中西方文化差异出发,论述了跨文化交际背景下由于交际双方对两种语用原则的侧重点不同,受话者产生的会话含义与发话者的意图不同,而导致的语用失误。
As the two complimentary principles in pragmatics , cooperative principle and politeness principle are the basic theories of social communication. In the case of intercultural communication , pragmatic failure doesn’t mean the infeasibility of communicative principles, but that people lay special emphasis on different aspect in the light of their own culture, and thus result in different understanding of conversational implicature of addresser and addressee.
