摘要
论文概述了夏言所处的社会政治环境,考察了夏言的思想德行、从政功过,简介了明清诸家对夏言的评议,提出对明朝行法治与搞人治的一些看法。
In this paper,the writer has dealt with the social and political environment in which Xia Yan lived,investigated his thinking and morals,merits and demerits in being an official,chiefly introduced the comments in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and put foward his own opinions about the ruling by law and ruling by man in the Ming Dynasty.
