摘要
联合国是20世纪最具代表性、规模最大、活动内容最为广泛的国际组织,至今仍在国际舞台发挥重要作用。但是,由于资金短缺,严重制约其作用的发挥;组织结构和运行机制不完善,使联合国蒙上阴影;加上世人过多的期望,更使它不堪重负。
The United Nations(UN),the largest international organization,was founded on October 24,1945.And it is the most typical and comprehensive one,which has been playing an important part in the world affairs. However,the role of the UN is limited in this post-Cold War era,as the UN is short of money,overburdened,and imperfect in structure and operational mechanism.
