摘要
成长,作为一个文学主题在文学史上占有相当重要的地位。优秀的成长小说总是能够被各个年龄层次的读者所接受和喜爱,其原因不只在于它本身所包含的艺术性,还在于它的原型特征。本文就成长小说的主题原型和成长过程中的领路人原型两个层面来解读小说《远大前程》,展现主人公皮普成长路上的困惑与觉醒。
As a kind of literary theme,initiation plays a very important role in the literary history.The excellent initiation stories always can be accepted by readers of all ages,the reason is that it does not only lie in the artistry of itself,but in its archetypal charac- teristics.This paper interprets Great Expectation in terms of the archetype of initiation theme and initiation mentors.It also illustrates the perplexity and awakening of Pip on his way to initiation.
