摘要
2006年11月的美国中期选举,出乎意料的是民主党不仅时隔12年夺回众议院,而且以微弱多数控制参议院。文章对这次美国中期选举共和党之所以失败的原因作了分析,而且就2006年美国中期选举结果对布什政府伊拉克政策和中美关系可能产生的影响作了探讨。
Unexpectedly,Democrats wrested the control of House of Representatives from Republicans after 12 years and were on the verge of winning back the Senate in the U.S.Mid-term Election of November 2006.This paper mainly analyses the reasons why Republicans were defeated by Democrats and that the result of the U.S.Mid-term Election of 2006 has the possible influence on American Iraq′s policy and the Sino-American relationship.
