The paper briefly discribes the features of CAN field bus and P87C591,a microprocessor with on-chip CAN controller,and their superiorities.And detailedly introduces the design of hardware circuit of monitoring&alarm node based on P87C591.The problem in designing hardware circuit are discussed.Finally,the initialization subprogram is emphasized.
