摘要
Carson McCullers' The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter presents the loneliness of lower-class people.In the novel,Carson presents more than one kind of loneliness and the main tone of the story is sad.However,after close reading the novel,we can find that not all kind of loneliness is miserable in the lost era.This thesis interprets this loneliness through Carson's view on loneliness.
