摘要
在分析学习者跨文化学习影响因素相关研究的基础上,报告了对132名中国留美学生的访谈式问卷调查,从学生视角了解语言、教学和交流因素对其跨文化学习效果的具体影响并提炼学习影响要素。研究发现,影响留学生跨文化学习的语言因素主要有论文写作水平、英语变体熟悉度、语言组织速度和学术阅读速度,教学因素主要有教学互动参与度、考核形式及节奏适应度和自主学习与管理效果,交流因素主要有跨文化交流意愿和他文化了解程度。基于研究结果提出针对性建议,旨在为高校外语教学中学生跨文化学习能力的培养提供启示。
Starting with an analysis of the relevant studies of factors affecting intercultural learners,this paper reports an interview questionnaire survey on 132 Chinese students studying in American universities.It probes into the influence of language,teaching and communication factors on these students′intercultural learning,and extracts the key affecting factors.The study reveals that the key language factors affecting their learning are their level of academic writing,familiarity of English varieties,language organizing speed,and academic reading speed,key teaching factors are their adaptation to the active participation in teaching interaction and to the evaluation mode,and effectiveness of their independent learning and management,and key communication factors are their willingness to communicate cross cultures and knowledge of foreign cultures.Based on the study results,the paper puts forward some practical suggestions,with the purpose of providing certain enlightenment for the cultivation of students′intercultural learning competence in foreign language teaching in China′s universities.
