摘要
为充分发挥云南省文物考古研究所东南亚考古研究中心面向南亚、东南亚国家开展文物考古研究的地缘及资源优势,2013年12月,云南省文物考古研究所与老挝国家社会科学院历史研究所签署了《中华人民共和国云南省文物考古研究所与老挝人民民主共和国社会科学院历史研究所关于文物考古的合作意向书》。
From 2018 to 2019,Yunnan Institute of Culture Relics and Archaeology,Sichuan University and the Department of Heritage,Ministry of Information,Culture and Tourism of Laos organized joint archaeological team and conducted an excavation in the Thengkham East site.The excavation revealed four tombs and twenty-eight ash-pits,unearthed plenty of potterysherds,bronze slags,ingots,copper ores,crucible,stone mould and some bronze axes.Other countries have also discovered relics such as bronze drums,glass beans,iron swords and porcelain during their excavations in this region.The excavation and investigation around the site showed that there are a large number of similar sites in this area,which integrates copper mining,smelting and casting.According to carbon dating data,the site dates from the late Spring and Autumn Period to the Warring States Period.The relics such as bronze axe,bronze drums and copper bracelets found in this area are closely related to the"Dian Culture",in Yunnan of China.The discovery of this large-scale bronze age smelting and casting site group is of great significance to the study of the emergence,development and dissemination of early metallurgical technology and the formation of copper trade network in Southeast Asia and southern China.
