摘要
需求分析是ESP英语的最显著特征。本文通过问卷方式就高职航海类ESP课程需求分析进行研究。结果表明:学生学习航海类ESP课程的主要动机是为了工作需要,学习态度积极,但兴趣不足;学习目标侧重于听和说;ESP教材和教学方法有待于改进,教学质量还有待于提升。
Need analysis is the most distinctive feature of English for Specific Purposes.In this study,a need analysis of maritime ESP courses in higher vocational institutions is carried out by using questionnaires.Results are shown in the following three aspects.First,students learn ESP courses mainly for their future job,during which students tend to show positive attitude but less interest.Second,students focus more on listening and speaking.Third,ESP teaching materials and methods as well as teaching quality need to be further improved.
