岁时节令作为原始信仰和民间习俗的强化渠道,不仅凝聚着人们在社会生活中约定的崇尚和禁忌,更凸显着社会意识形态的权威和主流。通过岁时节令所举行的民间仪式和祭祀活动将民间禁忌和主流意识传递给民众,并在潜移默化中加以稳固和张扬。戏曲表演作为传统高台教化的重要形式,天然地和岁时节令相关联,使得古代戏曲舞台在视觉上呈现出别具韵味的色彩选择,这其中既有承载"乐感文化"和"乐天悯人"的色彩崇尚,也有展现取悦神灵和趋吉避祸的色彩禁忌。
