摘要
据《洞庭湖志》记载,以“围”“垸”“堤”“障”“圫”为例探讨洞庭湖湖区堤坝义地名词:历时演变上,先秦时“堤”在汉语堤坝义地名词中占主导地位,魏晋南北朝出现堤坝义地名词“障”“围”,“垸”“圫”为清代出现的洞庭湖湖区所特有的堤坝义地名词;现时分布上,“围”“垸”“堤”“障”“圫”在湖南地名中皆集中于洞庭湖湖区,且以封闭性环形语义的“垸”“围”最常见。“围”“垸”“堤”“障”“圫”体现了洞庭湖堤坝义地名词的丰富性,也在语言地理上印证了洞庭湖湖区的水域变迁史。
According to the“Annals of Dongting Lake”,this paper explores the dike-related place names in the Dongting Lake area,exemplified by“Wei”,“Keng”,“Di”,“Zhang”,and“Tu”.Historically,the term“Di”dominated the dike-related place names in Chinese during the pre-Qin period,while“Zhang”and“Wei”appeared during the Wei,Jin,and Northern and Southern Dynasties.“Yuan”and“Tu”are unique dike-related place names in the Dongting Lake area that emerged during the Qing Dynasty.In terms of current distribution,“Wei”,“Yuan”,“Di”,“Zhang”,and“Tu”are all concentrated in the Dongting Lake area in Hunan,with the semantically enclosed circular terms“Yuan”and“Wei”being the most common.These terms reflect the richness of dike-related place names in Dongting Lake and linguistically corroborate the history of water changes in the Dongting Lake area.
