摘要
后现代社会的经济、政治和文化语境为批评话语分析(CDA)提供了关键的主题和概念。一方面,葛兰西、哈贝马斯、福柯、德里达、巴特等的各种后现代主义理论对霸权斗争、全球化、知识和权力、语言和权力、生活世界的理性化、制度对生活世界的殖民以及各种对这种殖民的抵制与反抗的阐释,为批评话语分析提供了一系列的理论和研究课题;另一方面,Chouliaraki和Fairclough(1999)认为批评话语分析产生于后现代语境下,是对“后现代性”批评研究的一种贡献,其重点关注的是语言在后现代社会变化中的作用。本文试图将批评话语的出现和发展与后现代社会文化语境联系起来,从六个方面进行讨论:(1)后现代的文化和知识;(2)后结构主义的话语批评观;(3)语言的建构性和语义的相对性;(4)话语的异质性和对话性;(5)批评的反思性;(6)动态辩证的批评话语分析。
The post-modern economic,political and cultural context provides multiple themes and concepts for critical discourse analysis(CDA).On the one hand,social critical theorists such as Gramsci,Habermas,Foucault,Derrida and Barthes have cultivated a fertile soil for CDA with their theories of hegemony,globalization,knowledge and power,language and power,the life world and the public world,the colonization of the life world by system and the resistance to it,etc.On the other hand,as Chouliaraki&Fairclough(1999)believe,critical discourse,with its focus on the role of language in the social change of the post-modern era,has made important contribution to the critical study of post-modern society.This article attempts to relate or attribute the emergence and development of CDA to the Western social and cultural context of the post-modern era;it consists of six parts:①post-modern culture and knowledge;②post-structuralist critical view of language and discourse;③the constructive and relative nature of language;④the heterogenous and dialogic nature of discourse;⑤the reflexivity of critique;⑥the dynamic and dialectical nature of CDA.
