摘要
出于对耶教正统与纯洁性的捍卫,晚明传教士虽初来乍到却反而首先对已在中国扎根千年之久的外来佛教主动发起攻击。虽然耶教方的批佛之举,起初并未引起佛教方的高度重视,但随着耶教影响的扩大与传教士和天主教徒对佛教抨击的高涨,不断激发了僧人与居士身上对佛教正统性的捍卫情结,致使双方捍卫各自宗教正统性的高涨情绪发生了直面碰撞,使耶佛之诤不断升级,亦使诤论中出现大量非理性的粗陋言辞与曲解之论。
In order to defend the orthodoxy and the purity of the Christian,the missionary of the Late-Ming dynasty,though came here for the first time,but actively attacked the Buddhism,which had entered and taken root in China for more than one thousand years.Though it was not attracted great attention of the Buddhism in the begin,but following the expanded impact of the Christian,and the criticism to the Buddhism constantly rising,which came from the missionary,which aroused the Buddhist monk’s emotion to defend the orthodoxy of the Buddhism,which brought the both sides’high emotion into confront collision,and escalated the dispute between Buddhism and Christian constantly,which brought a lot of vulgar language and fallacy into the dispute.
