摘要
跨文化交际能力的培养是英语专业教育不容忽视的重要教学目标之一。本研究针对东北某高校开设的内容语言融合国别区域文化课程,采用定性的研究方法,借助半结构化访谈和课堂观察收集数据。研究发现,教师可采用讲解课内外语言和内容知识、多角度客观性阐述文化内涵、借助多媒体鉴赏文化产物、分享跨文化交流经历的分析型教学策略以及模拟跨文化情景、组织思辨活动、提供跨文化交流机会的经验型教学策略,从而在认知、情感和行为三个层面培养学生的跨文化交际能力。
The development of intercultural communicative competence(ICC)should be one of the most important objectives of educating English majors.With classroom observations and interviews as instruments for data collection,a qualitative research design was employed.Analysis of the data collected generated the following findings.First,in terms of the analytic teaching strategies,teachers explained and extended linguistic and cultural knowledge,objectively introduced cultures from a wide range of perspectives,explained importance of ICC,appreciated cultural products with multimedia resources,and shared intercultural communicative experience.Second,in terms of the experiential teaching strategies,teachers simulated intercultural situations,organized criticalthinking activities,assigned impromptu tasks,and offered intercultural communicative opportunities.
