摘要
垂体前叶细胞机能形态学的研究,长期以来始终是许多学者注意的中心。由于各家在取材、染色技术、观察方法以及采用细胞命名系统等方面互不一致,因而彼此所得结果有着很大的差异,加以组织化学的进展较慢,所以直至目前,对垂体机能形态学的了解仍然是很不够的。计数垂体前叶细胞分类的百分组成,多年来一直是研究生理、病理状况下垂体前叶机能形态学的主要指标之一。
A method for counting and differentiating the cells of the anterior pituitary gland is proposed by using 3 sections at equal distances,selected from the horizontal planes of the gland and the count is made under oil immersion magnification in one quarter of every fifth field sweeping over the unilateral half of each section.The result thus obtained from the study of 6 necrobiopsic cases is compared with that from the other half of the section and there is no apparent difference found between them.A comparison is made between different planes of the gland and it shows that the distribution of cells in them is not uniform.This method is time-saving and yet accurate enough to reflect cell population of the gland,and the remaining half of the gland may be saved for other purposes.
