X-射线对肾上腺皮质的组织化学影响

摘要 电离辐射严重改变动物机体的内环境,以致机体必须通过神经-内分泌这个机构来进行调整和适应,而垂体-肾上腺系统的活动在这个过程中占重要地位。所以电离辐射损伤后肾上腺皮质的变化是一个引人注意的问题[1]。 The adult male rats weighing 140 to 200 grams were exposed to whole body X-irradiation with a single dose of 1000r and killed at intervals of 2,5,8,12 hrs and 1,2,3 days after irradiation.The changes of RNA,glycogen,lipoid and alkaline phospha-tase in the adrenal cortex were studied with histochemical methods.The RNA content in outer zona fasciculata began to increase as early as 5 hrs afterirradiation.One day later the RNA of the whole zona fasciculata increased.At thattime,the sizes of both the cells and nucleoli in the outer zona fasciculata became largerthan the normal.On the 2nd day the granules of glycogen decreased or were depleted.The amount of lipoid in the cortex decreased after 5 hrs.This change was first en-countered in the zona retcularis and inner zona fasciculata,and then in the outer zonafasciculata.Three days later the lipoid nearly disappeared in the zona fasciculata andreticularis,but in the zona glomerulosa no visible changes could be seen.There were no evident changes in alkaline phosphatase.The functional significance of the changes described above are discussed.
