Your artwork Mountains is located in a public space. How is this different from placing your artwork in a museum?Do you give more consideration to the concept of“publicity”when making public art works?I actually don’t consider publicity much. Some artists will overthink these aspects.Guessing the way that the audience will like to interact, but in fact, the audience’s acceptance and aesthetics are gradually improving. They are all smart, and the range of thinking and feeling is often not what they would predict.Any artwork is possible to be“public.”The so-called“publicity”is not only in the public space under the urban context. For example, the earliest exhibition was held in the palace. And later,it was taken to the society, white box,or placed in someone’s home or body. But as long as the works are viewed by the audience. They are all being“public.”
