张炜忧愁的少年经历,对俄罗斯的深切关注和地域特色文化影响孕育了张炜独特的文学观。张炜反对物质主义、享乐主义和商业文化,他认为,在一个商业化时代,金钱有腐蚀一切的力量。“官僚腐败、科技领域兴起的科技主义以及文学领域的武侠小说是同时出现的三剑客。”在此背景下,张炜对诗人的歌颂是毫无保留的。商业经济如潮水袭来,泥沙俱下,此时,张炜关于写作的诗意理念便像漫漫黑夜中的一把火炬,兴旺高扬,温暖着人们的心,照亮了人们的前路。然而,张炜直戳入里的故事,独具特色的语言风格有过犹不及之疑,跟当前大众喜闻乐见的阅读趣味有一定差距。
Zhang Wei’s unique view of literature was formed by his melancholic juvenile experience,a deep affection for Russia,and the influence of specific regional culture.He is opposed to materialism,hedonism and commercial civilization,deeming that money corrodes everything in the commercial age.“Corruption in official circles,technologism in the scientific field,and kung fu fiction in literature world...they appear simultaneously,as a trinity.”Zhang expresses his admiration to poets without reservation.The commodity economy is sweeping like a tide.Under such a muddied background,his poetic notion about writing is just like a torch in the long and dark night,appearing strong and lofty,which warms people’s hearts and lights their prospects.However,his plain understanding of the stories and language of novels is somewhat excessive,which seems remote from the reading taste of the public to some extent.
