摘要
1931年,国际联盟教育考察团访华期间,在法国物理学家保罗·朗之万的建议下,中国物理学会于1932年8月正式成立。学会成立初期,下设学报委员会、物理学名词审查委员会以及物理教学委员会,并以这三个委员会为核心开展学会主要工作。其中学会创办的《中国物理学报》是中国本土物理学领域的重要学术交流平台,名词审查委员会以商榷统一名词这项工作推动了中国物理学的本土化进程。中国物理学学会不仅促进了专门学科的建制化,同时也与其它科学组织、团体进行沟通,取得了一定成效。20世纪上半叶,中国物理学会是科学思想文化传播的重要阵地,也是专业学术组织通过科学工作推动我国社会转型的典型代表。
In 1931,during a visit by the League of Nations education delegation to China,the Chinese Physical Society was officially established in August 1932,promoted by French physicist Paul Langevin.Initially the Society established three core committees——a Journal Committee,a Physics Terminology Review Committee,and a Physics Teaching Committee——to carry out its main work.The Chinese Journal of Physics,founded by the Society,become an important academic exchange platform within China's physics community.The Terminology Review Committee promoted the localization of physics by standardizing terms.The Society not only promoted the institutionalization of specialized disciplines,but also communicated with other scientific organizations and groups.Throughout the first half of the 20th century,the Chinese Physical Society played an important role in disseminating scientific ideas and culture,and also serving as a typical representative of professional academic organizations promoting social transformation in China through scientific understanding.
