An Implicit Cutting Method for 3D Geological Body Model

摘要 三维地质体模型的剖切面分析和地下工程开挖模拟是三维地质建模与可视化分析软件的重要功能。传统显式剖切方法依赖于前期建立的三维地质体模型,而模型的拓扑问题易导致剖面空洞或三角形交叉等现象,且剖切精度与最大剖切深度受限于已有地质体模型的建模精度和深度。由此引入隐函数表达多种类型的剖切面,设置合理的剖切运算顺序,基于移动四面体的剖切面网格显式化运算与属性定义方法,提出了一种直接由地质调查源数据快速生成地质剖切面的隐式剖切新方法。针对1∶5万区域地质调查数据与岩土勘察钻孔数据开展了剖切分析实验,结果表明,所提方法可以有效避免因地质体模型拓扑不正确导致的剖切方法稳定性问题,且支持的剖切面类型更加丰富,剖切深度和剖切面表达精度更可控,为三维地质模型的空间分析方法提供了新的思路与借鉴。 Objectives:The cutting section analysis of three-dimensional(3D)geological model and excavation simulation of underground engineering are important functions of 3D geological modeling and visualization analysis software.The traditional explicit cutting method relies on the pre-establishment of a 3D geological body model,and the topological problem of the model is likely to lead to the phenomenon of section cavity or triangle intersection.The cutting accuracy and maximum cutting depth are limited by the modeling accuracy and depth of the existing geological body models.This paper introduces implicit functions to express multiple types of cutting planes.Methods:With a reasonable sequence setting of cutting operations,and based on the explicit calculation and attribute definition methods of the cutting section grids of the moving tetrahedron,a method that does not require any pre-establishment of a complete 3D geological body model is proposed.A new implicit cutting method for quickly generating geological section from geological survey source data or geotechnical survey borehole data.Results:A cutting analysis test is carried out for 1:50000 regional geological survey data and geotechnical survey borehole data.The results show that the proposed method can effectively avoid the instability problems of the cutting method caused by incorrect topology of geological body model.Conclusions:The proposed method supports more types of cutting planes and surfaces,controllable cutting depth and precision of cutting plane expression,which provides a new idea and reference for the spatial analysis method of 3D geological model.
