“Nothing can come of nothing”,as a classic line in Shakespeare’s tragedy King Lear,profoundly depicts the spiritual background of early Lear.The important philosophical proposition of“Nothing in Nothing”has been widely discussed by later Western philosophers since it was put forward by Parmenides,an ancient Greek philosopher.In the original English version of King Lear,“nothing”has multiple inner meanings.The discussion of“something”and“nothing”involves many aspects of family and love,and the transformation of the binary relationship between the two in the protagonist’s concept also deduces the growth story of“real person”.Both the presentation of individual existence and the reflection on the dynamic relationship between man and nature,King Lear is of great philosophical value in both historical and realistic dimensions.
