摘要
随着普通话的高度普及,迁入地方言是否仍会影响流动儿童的学校适应存在争议。文章基于中国教育追踪调查2014—2015学年的数据,探讨了当地方言能力和流动儿童的学业适应、心理适应的关系。结果表明,流动儿童的迁入地方言能力的强弱对其学业适应没有影响,但会显著影响其心理适应,尤其是自我认知层面的一般自我效能感和情绪调节自我效能感。此外,中介检验显示,方言能力对自我效能感的影响,部分是通过影响流动儿童的人际适应和学校归属感来实现的。以上研究发现证明了迁入地方言能力对流动儿童学校适应的不同方面存在差异性影响,并解释了其相关机制。
For a long time,the dialect of the migration destination has been a crucial factor that would exert a large impact on migrant children’s school adjustment.However,with the generalization of Mandarin in the past decades,whether the dialect of migration destination remains the same important has aroused rising scholarly attention.Based on this context,this study attempts to address the aforesaid controversial issue using the data from the 2014 to 2015 China Education Panel Survey.By applying inverse probability weighting,we aim to examine the effect of dialect on migrant children’s school adjustment,specifically,their academic adaptation and psychological adaptation,the two core dimensions of school adjustment.The result shows that the grasp of dialect in destination area has no significant effect on migrant children’s academic performance,but it has strong effects in predicting migrant children’s self-efficacies including both general self-efficacy and emotional self-efficacy.The results from KHB mediation analysis further show that,the effect of dialect on migrant children’s self-efficacy was partially mediated through interpersonal adaptation and school belonging.In sum,the grasp of dialect has differential impacts on migrant children’s school adjustment.
