摘要
在西方工业资本急剧扩张的19世纪,英国与许多国家以签订自由通商条约的方式,在全球范围内建立起以英国为中心的商贸网络。1825年《英阿友好通商航海条约》是英国与阿根廷订立的第一个正式的商务条约,是阿根廷建国初期竭力向英国寻求外交承认的最终结果。以签订商约为契机,将阿根廷纳入世界经济体系,是英国由重商主义转向自由主义的应有之意。尽管《英阿商约》奠定了往后一百多年双方贸易的法律基础,但从长远来看,商约中不平等的利益分配实则为英国在阿根廷建立经济霸权开启了方便之门,一定程度上奠定了阿根廷依附于英国的外向型经济发展模式的基础,深刻影响了阿根廷的现代化进程。
In the 19th century,when Western industrial capital was expanding rapidly,Britain entered into extensive interactions with many countries by signing free trade treaties,and established a trade network centered on Britain on a global scale.The Anglo-Argentine Treaty of Amity,Trade and Navigation of 1825 was the first official commercial treaty between Britain and Argentina.It was the final result of Argentina's efforts to seek diplomatic recognition from Britain at the beginning of its founding.Taking the opportunity of signing the treaty to integrate Argentina into the world economic system,was the due intention of Britain that turned from mercantilism to liberalism.Although the commercial treaty set up the legal foundation for bilateral trade in the following one hundred year,in the long run,the unequal distribution of benefits in the treaty opened the door for the Brtish to establish economic hegemony in Argentina,and to a certain extent,it had laid the foundation for Argentina's export-oriented economic development model attached to Britain,which profoundly affected the modernization process of Argentina.
