如果治理者都依法行事,那么国家会变得更为强大。韩非子此言意在提醒治理者应当严于律己,秉公执法。与此同理,在现代社会立法者、司法者和执法者应积极运用法治思维和法治方式解决问题。
If all governors can perform their duties in accordance with the law,the country will be stronger.This observation of Hanfeizi was meant to remind rulers to exercise strict selfdiscipline and to enforce the law impartially.Similarly,legislators,judicial personnel and law enforcers in modern society shall solve problems by active use of law-based ideas and methods.
