摘要
轶事记录表明,无论是口述时代、书写时代还是读图时代,对媒介的不同应用方式都起到过划分人群的效果。不同时代都出现过媒介鸿沟,媒介鸿沟不是数字时代的专利。教育一方面参与制造了各种媒介鸿沟,另一方面也可以对各种媒介鸿沟形成干预。当前,新媒介技术在教育领域的应用前景被普遍看好。然而,上述研究发现表明,媒介鸿沟不会因为技术更新而自动消失,劣势人群对于新媒介的态度进一步拉大了他们和优势人群之间的距离。带动人们放弃低劣的媒介应用方式是民主时代的教育技术派应该承担的社会责任。
Anecdotal records show that in oral age,textual age and pictorial age,different ways of media using have played a role in the process of segregation.There have been different media gaps in different times.Media gap is not a unique feature of the digital age.On the one hand,education is involved in creating of all kinds of media gap.On the other hand,education may also possible to intervene the formation of media gap.At present,the application prospect of new media technology in the field of education is generally optimistic.However,the findings above tell us that the media gap will not disappear automatically due to the technological innovation.Different attitudes toward new media have widened the distance between different people.It is the social responsibility of the educational technologist in the age of democracy to drive people to give up the inferior media application.
