摘要
“科玄论争”在近代思想文化史上占据着重要的地位,其起因是中西方文化交流所产生的矛盾冲突。人文精神的兴起是近代思想解放的显著特征。本该在近代化过程中相互促进的科学主义和人文精神,由于中国人文主义长期的附庸性质和科学理论的不成熟,一度成为对立的双方。在思想文化界变革的前夜,这种对立也直接诱发了“科玄论争”这一事件。
“Ke Xuan debate”occupies an essential position in the history of modern ideology and culture,and its causes are the contradictions and conflicts arising from cultural exchanges between China and the West.The rise of humanism is a prominent feature of the modern emancipation of thought.However,due to the long-term dependency nature of Chinese humanism and the immaturity of scientific theories,scientism and humanism,which were supposed to promote each other in the modernization process,have instead become opposites.On the eve of the shift in the ideological and cultural circles,this confrontation also directly induced the incident of“Ke Xuan debate”.
