摘要
以《赵元任早年自传》中的语言学习动机为研究对象,通过分析自传中有关语言学习的语句,揭示其语言习得动机方面的特征。通过分析发现,在语言学习过程中,只有让融合型动机与工具型动机相互交织,才能共同发挥作用。融合型动机对语言学习起主导性作用,工具型动机起一定的刺激和推动作用。因此,在语言学习过程中,要以激发学习者的融合型动机为抓手,以物质和精神方面的正面刺激为辅助,逐步培养学生的语言学习兴趣。
Based on the evaluation theory of second language acquisition,this paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the motivation for language acquisition in Zhao Yuanren’s Autobiography in His Early Years,thus revealing the characteristics of his motivation for language acquisition in his early years.The analysis shows that the two types interweave and play a role together during second language acquisition.Integrative motives play a leading role,while instrumental motives act as stimulants and facilitators.As a result,stimulating integration motivation in the language learning process has been considered as an effective method to develop the learner’s language learning.It is necessary to cultivate the student's interest in learning,supplemented by positive stimulation in both the physical and mental aspects.
