摘要
由于新闻与历史都是"实学",故存在"今日新闻是明日的历史"一说。然而,在新闻实践中,新闻的价值并非作为历史资料归档,而是让"受众获益"。新闻学与历史学分属不同学科,二者有不尽相同的事实基础,新闻的本质是信息,历史的本质是史实的真实,二者对时效的要求也不同。虽然新闻学继承了史家精神的衣钵,但是在新闻观念和新闻体制层面依旧有其特定的规范和要求。尤其在新媒介环境中,由大众书写的新闻与由史家书写的历史已经相去甚远,全球文化的碰撞更让史家传统面临巨大的挑战。"今日新闻是明日的历史"是对新闻与历史关系的大而化之,抹杀了二者的具体差异,难以实现新闻对历史的负责。唯有深入辨析二者关系,才能使新闻在新时代走得更稳,走得更远。
There is a saying that today’s news is tomorrow’s history,because of the practical nature of news and history.However,the value of news is not to archive as historical data,but to benefit the audience.Further analysis shows that journalism and history belong to different disciplines,and they have different factual bases.The essence of news is information,and the essence of history is the truth of historical facts.Both have different requirements for timeliness.Although journalism inherits the mantle of historians’spirit,it still has its specific norms and requirements at the level of news concept and news system.Especially in the new media environment,the news written by the public is far from the history written by historians,and the collision of global cultures makes the historian tradition face great challenges.“Today’s news is tomorrow’s history”is a great generalization of the relationship between news and history,which obliterates the specific differences between them and makes it difficult for news to be responsible for history.Only by deeply analyzing the relationship between the two can the news go further and steadily in the new era.
