As the backbone of promoting the rapid development of the country,excellent talents with comprehensive competence are in great need,which drives colleges and universities in China to educate and cultivate more outstanding talents. Under the background of globalization,English,as an international language,plays an important role in international communication. Strengthening students’ critical thinking ability in college English teaching can not only deepen students’ understanding and mastery of English professional knowledge,but also promote their personalized development.
