摘要
在英语教育高速发展的今天,大学生英语口语能力水平依旧参差不齐,主要表现为不能突破传统教育英语口语教学模式下的"哑巴英语"。大学是学生英语口语能力培养的一个新阶段。区别于传统的英语口语教学模式,ESA教学模式(Engage-Study-Activate)能有效激发学生兴趣,提高学生口语表达能力。该研究旨在探讨ESA理论对大学生口语能力的促进作用,并对大学英语口语教学提出了相关建议。
With the rapid development of English education,the level of College Students’oral English ability is still uneven,which is mainly reflected in the inability to break through the"dumb English"under the traditional oral English teaching mode.College English is a new stage in the cultivation of students’oral English ability.ESA teaching mode(Engage-Study-Activate)can effectively stimulate students’interest and improve students’oral expression ability.This study aims to explore the role of ESA Theory in promoting college students’oral English ability and puts forward relevant suggestions for college oral English teaching.
