In order to achieve the 2039 decarbonization goal,Daimler Trucks will focus on two technical routes in the future:battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell technology.In the field of medium and heavy trucks,battery electric and fuel cell technologies will be equally important and complementary:battery electric technology will be used for shortand medium-distance transportation,and fuel cell technology will be used for long-distance transportation.
