摘要
为分析研究青少年持刀犯罪与交通枢纽有关的联系,实现减少持刀犯罪的目标。首先,从政府官方数据库中收集英国萨瑟克区交通枢纽的位置数据;其次,将之与持刀犯罪案件的地点重叠;最后,通过数据可视化的方式视图呈现并分析二者之间可能存在的联系。研究显示,在英国萨瑟克区,绝大部分的青少年持刀犯罪都发生在大型公共交通枢纽周围或者往来路线上,这些公共交通枢纽在一定程度上助长了当地犯罪率,为青少年犯罪提供了场地以及机会。本研究希望给政策制定者和案件相关人员决策提供参考。
To analyse and study the links between youth knife crime and transport hubs with the aim of reducing knife crime.Firstly,data was collected from official government databases on the location of transport hubs in Sasak,UK.Secondly,the location data was overlaid with the location of knife crime cases.Finally,a data visualisation was used to present and analyse the possible links between the two.The study shows that the vast majority of youth knife crime in the UK borough of Sasak occurs around or on the routes of large public transport hubs,which contribute to local crime rates and provide a venue and opportunity for youth crime.This study is intended to inform policy makers and those involved in the case.
