摘要
本文立足于既往研究和第一手资料,考辨汉文正楷的开发缘起、蓝本、完成时间、字种字号、企业变迁、与其他印刷出版机构关系等,考察、总结其海内外传播、改刻的史实和历史影响,探讨其再设计的可能性及具体方法。汉文正楷是郑午昌为创造既能表现新时代精神又具有传统内涵的中国独特的印刷文化而开发的活字,是东亚汉字文化圈的代表字体之一,也是绝无仅有的楷体活字字族。汉文正楷是中国近现代印刷出版事业发展的重要力量,不但开创了中国印刷文化的新局面,还影响到日本印刷和设计界。在今日,如何进一步挖掘其内涵,完成数字化再设计,既是中国设计史的重要课题,也是提升字体设计实践的重要途径。
Based on previous studies and first-hand information,this article identifies the origins,blueprint,completion date,font size,corporate changes,and relationship with other printing and publishing institutions,examines and summarizes the historical facts and impact of its dissemination and reengraving at home and abroad,and discusses the possibility of its redesign and specific methods.Created by Zheng Wuchang,Chinese Regular Script is a type font embodying the underlying trend of the times and having unique traditional Chinese printing culture.It is one of the representative fonts of the East Asian Chinese cultural circle and the only family of regular characters.From its inception,the Chinese regular script has supported the development of Chinese culture and revolutionary endeavors,creating a new dimension in Chinese printing culture and influencing the Japanese printing and design community.Today,how to further explore its connotations and how to make it a successful digital redesign is both an important topic in Chinese design history and an important way to enhance the practice of font design.
