摘要
‘蜡红’是从白姜花(Hedychium coronarium)与‘橙塔’红姜花(H.coccineum‘Orange Brush’)人工杂交得到的F_(1)代群体中选育出的姜花新品种。花香较母本清淡。花冠裂片橙黄色;唇瓣和侧生退化雄蕊蜡质,主色为亮橙色,心部主色鲜红色;花丝和花药为鲜红色。花期7月上旬至11月中旬。花期长,是一种观赏性极高的园林植物。适合盆栽或地栽,适宜华南地区的园林和庭院栽培应用。
The new cultivar Hedychium‘Lahong’was selected from F_(1)populations of female parent H.coronarium and male parent H.coccineum‘Orange Brush’.The floral fragrance of‘Lahong’is lighter than that of its female parent.Coralla lobes are orange-yellow.Labellums and lateral staminodes are waxy,with brilliant-orange as their main colors and vivid-red at their centers.The filaments and anthers are vivid-red.The flowering period is from early July to mid November.It is a highly ornamental garden plant with long flowering period.‘Lahong’is suitable for potted or ground planting,and suitable for landscaping and gardens cultivation uses in regions of South China.
