摘要
《诗经》《论语》中“士”的含义由“身份之士”转向“德行之士”。这种变迁受封建秩序解体与礼乐文化下移的影响,殷商祭祀文化中的宗教精神和西周的礼乐文化经孔子的传承和改造对士内在品格的形成起到关键作用。“士”出之为“仕”使没落的“士庶人”重新成为统治阶层的“士大夫”,士之品格也成为后世士大夫内圣之学的重要内容。
The meaning of“scholar”in the Book of Poetry and the Analects shifted from“person of status”to“person of virtue”.This change was influenced by the disintegration of the feudal order and the downward movement of the liturgical music culture,and the religious spirit in the Yin shang sacrifice culture and the liturgical music culture of the Western Zhou Dynasty played a key role in the formation of the inner character of the scholars through the inheritance and transformation of Confucius.The emergence of“scholars”as“officials”made the declining“scholars”become the“officials”of the ruling class again,and the character of the scholars also became an important part of the study of the inner saints of the later generations of scholars.
