摘要
释承古是北宋时期云门宗禅师,在宋代禅宗史上具有重要的影响和地位。有关释承古生平事迹中的生卒年、籍贯、参访尊宿,开悟、扬名、开堂说法及著述等论述尚有舛误或未能深入研究之处。要之,厘清释承古的主要生平事迹,有助于我们深入研究他在禅宗史上的地位和影响。
Shi Chenggu,a Chan master of Yunmen school,had an important influence and status in the Chan Buddhism history of the Song Dynasty.The years of his birth and death,birthplace,the eminent monk he visited,how he got enlightened and famous,his opening narratives and writings are still mistaken in some aspects or have not been thoroughly studied.In summary,clarifying the main life stories of Shi Chenggu will help us to study his position and influence in the history of Chan Buddhism.
