摘要
新闻评论的本质是一种诉诸理性批判的论辩话语,语用论辩学的研究理论作为一种重要的论辩话语分析工具,为新闻评论的分析和评价带来了新思路和新方法。文章尝试在语用论辩学的研究框架下,从论辩重构、策略操控和合理性评价三个方面对《人民日报》新冠疫情社论进行论辩合理性和修辞有效性的分析与评价,并从潜在话题、受众需求和表达手段三个维度与潜在受众展开一场复杂的批判性讨论。最后指出,新闻评论并不是简单的观点和材料的组合,而是包含了意见分歧的选择、论辩出发点、潜在说服对象和正反方等隐性核心论辩要素的重新建构,在进行批判性讨论时不仅需要从论辩合理性进行考量,还要从修辞学角度来探究新闻评论的"说服性"。
The essence of news commentary is an argumentative discourse that appeals to rational criticism.As an important tool of argumentative discourse analysis,the research theory of pragmatic-dialectics brings new ideas and methods to the analysis and evaluation of news comments.This paper analyzes and evaluates the rationality and rhetorical validity of COVID-19’s editorial in People’s Daily from the three aspects of debate reconstruction,strategy manipulation and rationality evaluation.From the three dimensions of potential topics,audience needs and means of expression,a complex critical discussion is launched with potential audiences.This paper considers that news commentary is not a simple combination of opinions and materials,but a reconstruction of the hidden core elements of debate,such as the choice of different opinions,the starting point of debate,the potential object of persuasion and the pros and cons.When conducting critical discussion,it is necessary to consider the rationality of argumentation,and to explore the“persuasiveness”of news commentary from the perspective of rhetoric.
