摘要
对于中国百年文学批评史,林兴宅是一个绕不开的符号。但对林兴宅的理解却有着重重误读,最突出的表现在文艺界关注他的方法,却忽略了他的问题,并低估了他的答案。其根源在于有两个林兴宅,一个是以文艺系统论突破机械反映论重围的先行者,引领1985年方法论年,在百年中国文学批评史留下革命性影响,代表作是批评实践《论阿Q性格系统》与理论探索《艺术魅力的探寻》;另一个是以文艺象征论终结文艺反映论的挑战者,以"象征"替代"反映"作为文艺学的核心范畴,重构诠释文艺本质的新范式,回答文学的千古之谜,代表作是《象征论文艺学导论》。重新认识林兴宅,不仅是要重新评价他的历史地位,更重要的是要接续其对文学的超越性来源于哪里、艺术的魅力怎样生成以及文学的本质到底是什么的千年思考。
In the history of Chinese literary criticism,Lin Xingzhai is an inseparable symbol.However,there are many misinterpretations of him.The most prominent can be seen in the asym metrical interest of the literary and art circles in his methods rather than his questions,which went hand in hand with the underestimation of his answers.The fundamental cause of this phenomenon is that there are two different figures of Lin Xingzhai.One is the pioneer who broke through the encirclement of mechanical reflection theory with the literary system theory,leading the methodol ogy year of 1985.With the critical practice paper"on Ah Q’s Personality System"and theoretical exploration paper"Exploration of Artistic Charm"as representative works,he has been leaving a revolutionary influence on the history of Chinese literary criticism.The other is the challenger who ends the literary reflection theory with literary symbolism theory.With the representative work"In troduction of Symbolism Literary Theory",he takes"symbolism"instead of"reflection"as the core category of literary theory,reconstructing the new example of interpreting the essence of liter ature,and answering the century old mystery of literature.To rediscover the character of Lin Xingzhai,it is essential to re evaluate his historical position.But more importantly,it is critical to continue his life long thinking of generations on where the transcendence of literature comes from,how the charm of art is generated,and what the essence of literature is.
