摘要
本文分析了图形—背景理论在认知语言学领域的优势与不足。作者认为,图形—背景理论在分析空间介词、时间状语从句、倒装句等方面具有较大的优势,但该理论要系统、广泛地应用于认知语言学领域,还要解决语言实践的线性特征与静态分析的矛盾、受者中心还是文本中心、话语实践中突显因素多样化、东方传统思维的整体认知观与图形—背景理论的冲突等问题。
In the article, it attempts to discuss advantages and disadvantages of Figure -ground Theory in the linguistic analysis. Figure - ground Theory, as one of the basic theories in cognitive linguistics, can be adapted to some language analysis as in the aspects of spatial prepositions, temporal clauses and inverted sentences. However, some problems must be solved before it can be used generally and systematically in the field of linguistics.
