摘要
教材评估理论的研究对于目前中国的大学英语教学具有重要的意义。本文详细介绍和分析了以Cun-ningsworth、McDonough和Shaw、Breen和Candlin等为代表的三个国外较有影响的英语教材评估体系以及它们各自的理论特点,然后总结了这些评估系统所共同存在的一些问题,最后简单阐述了它们对中国大学英语教材评估所带来的启示,提出了较可行的量化分析的解决方法来供国内同行考虑。
The research on textbook evaluation is of great significance for college English teaching ira China. Detailed introduction and analysis are given in this thesis about three textbook evaluation systems that are influential in the Western countries, namely Cunningsworth' s Evaluation Guidelines, McDonough & Shaw' s Evaluation Model, and Breen & Candlin's Evaluation Guide. Then some problems commonly existing in these systems are summarized with their implications for the evaluation of college English textbooks in China. Finally a possible solution employing quantitative analysis is put forward for consideration.
