摘要
大学英语翻译教学一直是较薄弱的环节。造成学生翻译水平较低的原因主要有以下三个方面:1.学生对于语言与文化之间的了解不够。2.学生缺乏一定的翻译技巧。3.学生对一词多义,词的内涵与外延等方面的知识缺乏了解。本文对学生做翻译练习和考试中出现的问题做了浅要的分析并提出了几点建议。
Teaching English translation skills at the college level has always been a weak point.There are three reasons for the students' low translation level:1).a gap exists between the students' knowledge of language and culture;2)students are not familiar with effective translation techniques;3).Students lack knowledge of polysemantics and contextual meaning.This paper briefly addresses several problems associated with translation exercises and tests.
