However, little research has gone into the effects of hydroclimatic changes on trans-Eurasian cultural exchange. Here,we reconstruct precipitation changes in ACA, covering the mid-late Holocene with a U-Th dated, ~3 a resolution, multi-proxy time series of replicated stalagmites from the southeastern Fergana Valley,Kyrgyzstan. Our data reveal a 640-a megadrought between 5820 and 5180 a BP, which likely impacted cultural development in ACA and impeded the expansion of cultural traits along oasis routes. Instead,it may have diverted the earliest transcontinental exchange along the Eurasian steppe during the 5 th millennium BP. With gradually increasing precipitation after the megadrought, settlement of peoples in the oases and river valleys may have facilitated the opening of the oasis routes, ‘‘prehistoric Silk Roads", of trans-Eurasian exchange. By the 4 th millennium BP, this process may have reshaped cultures across the two continents, laying the foundation for the organized Silk Roads.展开更多

However, its application has not been widely extended to the research on speleothems. In this study, we measure the Sr abundance and the Sr/Ca ratios of three stalagmites(two aragonite stalagmites, one calcite stalagmite) using the state-of-the-art fourth-generation Avaatech high-resolution XRF core scanner. Through comparisons among different scan paths and among different scan resolutions, as well as comparisons with inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer(ICP-OES), Itrax XRF, and Artax XRF results, we confirm that the Avaatech XRF core scanner could precisely, quickly, and nondestructively analyze the high-resolution Sr abundance of speleothems. Furthermore, we combine the stalagmite δ^(18)O records to explore the paleoclimatic significance of the measured stalagmite Sr/Ca.展开更多

Nevertheless the literature on this topic is rapidly expanding there is still no consensus about benefits of robotic rectal cancer surgery over the laparoscopic one. For this reason a review of all the literature examining robotic surgery for rectal cancer was performed. Two reviewers independently conducted a search of electronic databases (PubMed and EMBASE) using the key words “rectum”, “rectal”, “cancer”, “laparoscopy”, “robot”. After the initial screen of 266 articles, 43 papers were selected for review. A total of 3013 patients were included in the review. The most commonly performed intervention was low anterior resection (1450 patients, 48.1%), followed by anterior resections (997 patients, 33%), ultra-low anterior resections (393 patients, 13%) and abdominoperineal resections (173 patients, 5.7%). Robotic rectal surgery seems to offer potential advantages especially in low anterior resections with lower conversions rates and better preservation of the autonomic function. Quality of mesorectum and status of and circumferential resection margins are similar to those obtained with conventional laparoscopy even if robotic rectal surgery is undoubtedly associated with longer operative times. This review demonstrated that robotic rectal surgery is both safe and feasible but there is no evidence of its superiority over laparoscopy in terms of postoperative, clinical outcomes and incidence of complications. In conclusion robotic rectal surgery seems to overcome some of technical limitations of conventional laparoscopic surgery especially for tumors requiring low and ultra-low anterior resections but this technical improvement seems not to provide, until now, any significant clinical advantages to the patients.展开更多

However, limited by poor stability and durability, superhydrophobic surfaces are rarely available for practical applications. In this review, based on the wettability mechanisms and failure modes of superhydrophobic surfaces, it is proposed that the construction of highly stable superhydrophobic materials can be approached from four aspects, including structural design, chemical bonding, interfacial-strengthening of hydrophobic materials and substrates, and self-healing. We introduced in detail the design ideas, strengthening approaches, and characterization tools of highly stable superhydrophobic materials from the perspective of multi-strategy design and strengthening, and provided corresponding insights. Eventually, the development, current status, and prospects of highly stable and multifunctional superhydrophobic materials were also presented in detail. Recent advances and development prospects of durable superhydrophobic materials were summarized and discussed in this review, providing certain insights and design guidelines for the fabrication of stable superhydrophobic materials.展开更多

文摘Objective:To evaluate the effects of Huoxin Pill(活心丸,HXP)on cardiac fibrosis and heart failure(HF)in isoproterenol(ISO)-induced HF rats. Methods:Thirty Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups including control,HF,isosorbide mononitrate(ISMN),HXP low(HXP-L),and HXP high(HXP-H)groups(n=6 for each group)according to the complete randomization method.Rats were pretreated with ISMN(5 mg/kg daily),low concentration of HXP(10 mg/kg daily)or high concentration of HXP(30 mg/kg daily)or equal volume of saline by intragastric administration for 1 week, followed by intraperitoneal injection of ISO(10 mg/kg,14 days),and continually intragastric administrated with above medicines or saline for additional 6 weeks. The effects of HXP treatment on the cardiac function, heart weight index(HWI),pathological changes, and collagen content were further assessed. Moreover, the role of HXP on activation of transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)/Smads pathway was further explored using immunohistochemistry(IHC)and Westernblot assay. Results:HXP treatment significantly alleviated the decrease of ejection fraction(EF)and fractional shortening(FS),while decreased the elevation of left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV)in ISO-induced HF rats(P<0.05).Moreover,HXP treatment obviously attenuated the increase of HWI and serum level of creatine kinase MB(CK-MB,P<0.05),as well as pathological changes in ISO-induced HF rats.Further determination indicated that HXP treatment alleviated the elevation of collagenⅠand collagenⅢprotein expression in cardiac tissues of ISO-induced HF rats.Furthermore,HXP treatment significantly down-regulated the increase of TGF-β1 and p-Smad2/3 protein expression in cardiac tissues of HF rats(P<0.05),while did not affect the expression of total Smad2/3.Conclusions:HXP attenuated heart failure and cardiac fibrosis in ISO-induced HF rats by suppression of TGF-β1/Smad2/3 pathway.

文摘Arid Central Asia(ACA), with its diverse landscapes of high mountains, oases, and deserts, hosted the central routes of the Silk Roads that linked trade centers from East Asia to the eastern Mediterranean.Ecological pockets and ecoclines in ACA are largely determined by local precipitation. By the 4 th millennium BP, this process may have reshaped cultures across the two continents, laying the foundation for the organized Silk Roads.

文摘In this research,core-shell electrospun fibers loaded with the shell of cellulose acetate and the core of oleic acid and alkyd varnish resin were synthesized and used within poly(dimethyl siloxane)(PDMS)to prepare self-healing and p H-responsive coatings for a steel substrate. The morphology of the electrospun fibers was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and confocal fluorescence microscopy.Thermo gravimetric analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy revealed that the self-healing agents were loaded successfully with a loading rate of 2.9%.The properties of the fiber-PDMS composite coating were characterized by water contact angle measurements, mechanical tests, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and scanning Kelvin probe. Results show that the maximum self-healing efficiencies of the fiber-PDMS coating in alkaline and acidic solution are 95.96%and 97.04%,respectively.The composition of the self-healing agents at the damaged part of the coating was verified by an infrared mapping test and using an energy dispersive spectrometer. In addition, the sandpaper abrasion test shows the hydrophobic effect of fiber-PDMS coating remains above 88.2%and decreases slightly through the addition of abrasion cycles. This research can pave the way for the industrial applications of p H-responsive self-healing coatings.

文摘Application of X-ray fluorescence core-scanning(XRF-CS) on both marine and lake sediments has achieved remarkable results. Furthermore, we combine the stalagmite δ^(18)O records to explore the paleoclimatic significance of the measured stalagmite Sr/Ca.

文摘The geological characteristics and production practices of the major middle-and high-maturity shale oil exploration areas in China are analyzed.Combined with laboratory results,it is clear that three essential conditions,i.e.economic initial production, commercial cumulative oil production of single well, and large-scale recoverable reserves confirmed by the testing production, determine whether the continental shale oil can be put into large-scale commercial development. The quantity and quality of movable hydrocarbons are confirmed to be crucial to economic development of shale oil,and focuses in evaluation of shale oil enrichment area/interval.The evaluation indexes of movable hydrocarbon enrichment include:(1)the material basis for forming retained hydrocarbon, including TOC>2%(preferentially 3%-4%),and typeⅠ-Ⅱkerogens;(2)the mobility of retained hydrocarbon, which is closely related to the hydrocarbon composition and flow behaviors of light/heavy components, and can be evaluated from the perspectives of thermal maturity(Ro),gas-oil ratio(GOR),crude oil density, quality of hydrocarbon components, preservation conditions;and(3)the reservoir characteristics associated with the engineering reconstruction, including the main pore throat distribution zone, reservoir physical properties(including fractures),lamellation feature and diagenetic stage,etc.Accordingly,13 evaluation indexes in three categories and their reference values are established. The evaluation indicates that the light shale oil zones in the Gulong Sag of Songliao Basin have the most favorable enrichment conditions of movable hydrocarbons, followed by light oil and black oil zones, containing 20.8×10^(8) t light oil resources in reservoirs with R_(0)>1.2%,pressure coefficient greater than 1.4,effective porosity greater than 6%,crude oil density less than 0.82 g/cm^(3),and GOR>100 m/m^(3).The shale oil in the Gulong Sag can be explored and developed separately by the categories(resource sweet spot, engineering sweet spot, and tight oil sweet spot)depending on
文摘Laparoscopic rectal surgery has demonstrated its superiority over the open approach, however it still has some technical limitations that lead to the development of robotic platforms. In conclusion robotic rectal surgery seems to overcome some of technical limitations of conventional laparoscopic surgery especially for tumors requiring low and ultra-low anterior resections but this technical improvement seems not to provide, until now, any significant clinical advantages to the patients.

文摘Nature-inspired superhydrophobic coatings with typical Cassie-Baxter contacts garner numerous interests for multifunctional applications. However, undesirable poor mechanical and thermal stability are still crucial bottlenecks for real-world employment. This work introduces a cost-effective,fluorine free and versatile strategy to achieve double-layered PDMS agglutinated candle soot coating with superior water-repellent superhydrophobicity. The surface morphologies, chemical compositions and wettability behaviors were investigated in detail. The mechanical stability, chemical stability and durable corrosion resistance of the fabricated PDMS-CS coating were evaluated through friction, calcination and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The results demonstrate a remarkably enhanced mechanical robustness and corrosion resistance, indicating PDMS units can act as an effective agglutinating agent between candle soot and underlying substrate. The synergistic effect of PDMS agglutination, porous network nanostructures and extremely low surface energy of incomplete combustion induced candle soot deposition contribute to the eventually robust corrosion resisting coating, which greatly increases the possibility for practical applications.

文摘Inspired by the lotus leaf effect, non-wetting artificial superhydrophobic surfaces demonstrate an enormous potential in numerous fields. Recent advances and development prospects of durable superhydrophobic materials were summarized and discussed in this review, providing certain insights and design guidelines for the fabrication of stable superhydrophobic materials.

文摘Microbiologically influenced corrosion caused by sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB) poses a serious threat to marine engineering facilities. This study focused on the interaction between the corrosion behavior of two aluminum alloys and SRB metabolic activity.SRB growth curve and sulfate variation with and with aluminum were performed to find the effect of two aluminum alloys on SRB metabolic activity.Corrosion of 5052 aluminum alloy and Al-Zn-In-Cd aluminum alloy with and without SRB were performed. The results showed that both the presence of 5052 and Al-Zn-In-Cd aluminum alloy promoted SRB metabolic activity, with the Al-Zn-In-Cd aluminum alloy having a smaller promotion effect compared with 5052 aluminum alloy. The electrochemical results suggested that the corrosion of the Al-Zn-In-Cd aluminum alloy was accelerated substantially by SRB.Moreover,SRB led to the transformation of Al-Zn-In-Cd aluminum alloy corrosion product from Al(OH)3 to Al2 S3 and NaAlO2.
