We report on a patient with a history of a vaginal hysterectomy with morcellation of the uterus who presented with monthly recurrent heavy lower abdominal pain. A solid tumour adherent to the lower anterior abdominal wall was diagnosed. Surgery revealed a significant portion of the uterus that showed intramural endometriosis. After “ completion hysterectomy" the patient was completely free of pain.展开更多
