Online public opinion in universities has been a highly concerning issue in recent years and an important component of student management in universities. With the development of information media, online platforms have become the ideological battlefield that universities must adhere to. At present, there are frequent public opinion incidents in universities, which exhibit characteristics of group aggregation, individual subjectivity, interactivity, universality, and conflict. Universities face difficulties in controlling these public opinion issues, obstacles in guiding students to participate rationally in public opinion, a lack of collaborative governance mechanisms, and insufficient construction of public opinion supervision teams.
