In a single-temperature furnace with the simple structure,three-step raising temperature process was used to fabricate aligned carbon nanotube film with a large-area(7 mm×15 mm) by pyrolysis of ferrocene/melamine...In a single-temperature furnace with the simple structure,three-step raising temperature process was used to fabricate aligned carbon nanotube film with a large-area(7 mm×15 mm) by pyrolysis of ferrocene/melamine mixtures on silica.SEM(scanning electron microscopy) and LR-TEM(low-resolution transmission electron microscopy) images show that these nanotubes have uniform outer diameters of about 22 nm and varying lengths from 10 to 40 μm.Each carbon nanotube is composed of many periodic structures with the same orientation.HR-TEM(high-resolution transmission electron microscopy) image shows that these periodic structures are made of 3-20 graphene layers.XPS(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy) spectra show that carbon nanotube grows in a top growth mode.The EELS(electron energy-loss spectroscopy) spectrum shows that these nanotubes are pure carbon tubes.展开更多
