The rice starch viscosity characteristics, which can be indicated by Rapid Visco Analyzer profile (RVA profile), have been proved useful for the evaluation of cooking and eating quality in rice breeding program. To study the inheritance of the RVA profile, an F2 population of Wuyujing 3/Aichi 106 was used. The results indicated that the peak viscosity (PKV) was a typical quantitative character, and the hot paste viscosity (HPV), cool paste viscosity (CPV), setback viscosity (SBV), breakdown viscosity (BDV), and consistence viscosity (CSV) might be controlled by one major gene and several minor genes To elucidate the genetic basis of the paste viscosity characteristics, a recombinant inbred line (RIL) population derived from Nikken 2/Milyang 23 and its genetic linkage map were used to map the QTLs controlling RVA profiles in 2005 and 2006. A total of 34 QTLs distributed on chromosomes 1,2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 were detected, including 19 and 15 QTLs in 2005 and 2006 respectively. Eight QTLs were both detected in the two years, qHPV6, qCPV6, qCSV6, qSBV6, and qBDV6 were located on chromosome 6, while qHPV2, qCSV2, and qCPV2were on chromosome 2. 展开更多

The rapid visco analyser (RVA) profile is an important factor for evaluation of the cooking and eating quality of rice. To improve rice quality, the identification of new quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for RVA profiling is of great significance. We used a japonica rice cultivar Nipponbare as the recipient and indica rice 9311 as the donor to develop a population containing 38 chromosome segment substitution lines (CSSLs) genotyped by a high-throughput re-sequencing strategy. In this study, the population and the parent lines, which contained similar apparent amylose contents, were used to map the QTLs of RVA properties including peak paste viscosity (PKV), hot paste viscosity (HPV), cool paste viscosity (CPV), breakdown viscosity (BKV), setback viscosity (SBV), consistency viscosity (CSV), peak time (PET) and pasting temperature (PAT). QTL analysis was carried out using one-way analysis of variance and Dunnett's test, and stable QTLs were identified over two years and under two environments. We identified 10 stable QTLs: qPKV2-1, qSBV2-1; qPKV5-1, qHPV5-1, qCPV5-1; qPKV7-1, qHPV7-1, qCPV7-1, qSBV7-1; and qPKV8-1 on chromosomes 2, 5, 7 and 8, respectively, with contributions ranging from -95.6% to 47.1%. This phenomenon can be simulated in creep and recovery tests. By applying the visco elastoplastic model proposed, data recorded in the tests are interpreted. It is emphasised that applicability of the visco elastoplastic model depends on the proper method of characterising parameters involved in the constitutive equations. Since two or more strain components of elasticity and viscosity coexist during the loading or unloading, a measuring system of two loggers is introduced to decouple these components. Test data are analysed in three steps as elastic, visco elastic and visco plastic evaluations, using the records collected at the moment of unloading, during the periods of recovery and creep respectively. Factors that may influence the accuracy of data analysis are also discussed. 展开更多

Existence of tension–compression yield asymmetry is a serious limitation to the load bearing capablities of Magnesium alloys in a number of light weight structural applications.The present work is aimed at nullifying the tension to compression asymmetry problem and strain hardening anomalies in a Magnesium–Silver–Rare Earth alloy by engineering different levels of microstructural conditions via friction stir processing and post process annealing.The existence and extent of yield asymmetry ratio in the range of microstructural conditions was experimentally obtained through quasistatic tensile and compression tests.The yield asymmetry problem was profoundly present in specimens of coarse grained microstructures when compared to their fine grained and ultra fine grained counterparts.The impact of the microstructure and associated mechanisms of plasticity on the macroscopic strain hardening behavior was established by Kock–Mecking’s analysis.Crystal plasticity simulations using Viscoplastic Self Consistency approach revealed the consequential role of extension twinning mechanism for the existence of yield asymmetry and anomalies in strain hardening behavior.This was especially dominant with coarsening of grain size.Electron Microscopy and characterization were conducted thoroughly in partially deformed specimens to confirm the predictions of the above simulations.The role of crystallographic texture for inducing the polarity to Tension–Compression yield asymmetry was corroborated.A critical grain size in Magnesium–Silver–Rare earth alloy was hereby established which could nullify influences of extension twinning in yield asymmetry ratio. 展开更多

Effects of rolled leaf gene Rl(t) on grain quality characters of hybrid rice were analyzed by using three pairs of rolled leaf near-isogenic lines under two fertilizer treatments. Under normal fertilizer level (e.g. 450 kg urea per ha), head rice rates and milled rice recovery of rolled leaf hybrids were significantly higher than those of corresponding non-rolled crosses, while the chalky rice rate and chalkiness were all lower. Of the RVA profiles, the peak viscosity, the hot paste viscosity and the breakdown viscosity of the rolled were all higher than those of the corresponding non-rolled ones to various degrees. Increasing fertilizer application for promoting panicle development increased the brown, milled and head rice rates except for Shanyou 63, furthermore, significant difference of head rice rates existed between the rolled leaf Shanyou 559 and Shanyou 559; while the peak viscosity, the hot paste viscosity and the breakdown viscosity all decreased to different levels; changes of values of other characters had no apparent regularity. It suggested that Rl(t) could improve rice quality under certain conditions. 展开更多

目的讨论白内障手术中对伴有无张力虹膜白内障小切口摘出手术方法。方法应用小切口白内障摘出手术中发现无张力虹膜19例(19眼)。表现为虹膜软如丝绸,手术中虹膜能随注吸液从隧道主切口、辅助切口溢出,亦可从晶状体核排出时同时脱出... 目的讨论白内障手术中对伴有无张力虹膜白内障小切口摘出手术方法。方法应用小切口白内障摘出手术中发现无张力虹膜19例(19眼)。表现为虹膜软如丝绸,手术中虹膜能随注吸液从隧道主切口、辅助切口溢出,亦可从晶状体核排出时同时脱出于切口外。用黏弹剂推(把脱出的虹膜推入前房)、堵(用黏弹剂堵塞隧道切口和辅助切口)、压(用黏弹剂下压虹膜和后囊),封(手术完成后用黏弹剂注射封于辅助切口和主切口区,防止术后虹膜脱出)等方法,阻止虹膜脱出和还纳虹膜复位。结果经以上方法处理,手术后瞳孔轻度上移2例(2眼),为手术中反复复位虹膜致色素脱失所致;余病例效果良好。手术后视力0.3—1.0。结论小切口白内障手术中遇到无张力虹膜时,应用黏弹剂推压封堵等方法,可顺利完成手术。 展开更多

通过对伯格斯体与西原体的对比分析,认为西原模型能模拟各种岩石流变特征,而伯格斯体仅适合用于较软岩。由于考虑到荷载与起始流变应力的关系,西原模型的本构关系用分段函数表示。当σ<σs时,西原模型的蠕变不导致无限变形,松驰不导... 通过对伯格斯体与西原体的对比分析,认为西原模型能模拟各种岩石流变特征,而伯格斯体仅适合用于较软岩。由于考虑到荷载与起始流变应力的关系,西原模型的本构关系用分段函数表示。当σ<σs时,西原模型的蠕变不导致无限变形,松驰不导致应力为0;当σ≥σs时,蠕变导致无限变形,松驰也不导致应力为0。伯格斯体忽略荷载与起始流变应力的关系,认为只要有荷载作用于岩体上,就会导致无限变形,这与岩石的实际流变规律相矛盾。此外,利用三轴压缩蠕变试验结果,分别利用伯格斯模型及西原模型,运用最小二乘法对赵各庄煤矿断层破碎带灰黄色糜棱岩的流变曲线进行了拟合,并求取了流变参数。拟合结果表明,西原模型比伯格斯模型更适合于描述岩石的蠕变特性。 展开更多
