Renewable energy,such as wind and photovoltaic(PV),produces intermittent and variable power output.When superimposed on the load curve,it transforms the load curve into a‘load belt’,i.e.a range.Furthermore,the large scale development of electric vehicle(EV)will also have a significant impact on power grid in general and load characteristics in particular.This paper aims to develop a controlled EV charging strategy to optimize the peak-valley difference of the grid when considering the regional wind and PV power outputs.The probabilistic model of wind and PV power outputs is developed.Based on the probabilistic model,the method of assessing the peak-valley difference of the stochastic load curve is put forward,and a two-stage peak-valley price model is built for controlled EV charging.On this basis,an optimization model is built,in which genetic algorithms are used to determine the start and end time of the valley price,as well as the peak-valley price.Finally,the effectiveness and rationality of the method are proved by the calculation result of the example. 展开更多

With the increase in the power receiving proportion and an insufficient peak regulation capacity of the local units, the receiving-end power grid struggles to achieve peak regulation in valley time. To solve this problem while considering the potential of the large-scale charge load of electric vehicles(EVs), an aggregator-based demand response(DR) mechanism for EVs that are participating in the peak regulation in valley time is proposed in this study. In this aggregator-based DR mechanism, the profits for the power grid’s operation and the participation willingness of the EV owners are considered. Based on the characteristics of the EV charging process and the day-ahead unit generation scheduling, a rolling unit commitment model with the DR is established to maximize the social welfare. In addition, to improve the efficiency of the optimization problem solving process and to achieve communication between the independent system operator(ISO) and the aggregators, the clustering algorithm is utilized to extract typical EV charging patterns. Finally, the feasibility and benefits of the aggregator-based DR mechanism for saving the costs and reducing the peak-valley difference of the receiving-end power grid are verified through case studies. 展开更多

机载28 V串联蓄电池组内的不一致性会减小其能量利用率及寿命,严重时会导致飞行事故发生。本文提出了一种基于新型均衡拓扑的锂电池组能量均衡方法,以改善串联电池组的不一致性。该均衡拓扑利用结构简单的隔离型DC-DC变换器及功率电阻... 机载28 V串联蓄电池组内的不一致性会减小其能量利用率及寿命,严重时会导致飞行事故发生。本文提出了一种基于新型均衡拓扑的锂电池组能量均衡方法,以改善串联电池组的不一致性。该均衡拓扑利用结构简单的隔离型DC-DC变换器及功率电阻器实现蓄电池组内任一单体电池的“削峰”或“填谷”,相对于非集中式均衡拓扑减小了均衡元件的数量和系统体积。以荷电状态作为均衡变量,实现了机载28 V蓄电池组内各单体之间的能量快速转移。仿真及实验结果表明,所提出的新型均衡方法,相较于基于集中式DC-DC拓扑的均衡速度最高可提升13.3%,均衡后电压极差最低降低至32 mV,SOC极差低于0.4%,具有更快更好的均衡效果。 展开更多

为将金属磁记忆无损检测技术用于弯曲荷载下焊接试件的检测,分别对Q345b钢有缺陷焊接试件及无缺陷焊接试件进行了三点受弯试验.通过对比两组试件在初始阶段、弹性阶段以及塑性阶段下磁记忆法向分量曲线及磁场梯度曲线,得到焊接缺陷位置... 为将金属磁记忆无损检测技术用于弯曲荷载下焊接试件的检测,分别对Q345b钢有缺陷焊接试件及无缺陷焊接试件进行了三点受弯试验.通过对比两组试件在初始阶段、弹性阶段以及塑性阶段下磁记忆法向分量曲线及磁场梯度曲线,得到焊接缺陷位置在不同阶段的特异性信号.试验结果表明:初始阶段,磁记忆法向分量曲线无明显特征信号,在判断焊接初始缺陷时缺乏准确性,而磁场梯度曲线中出现具有最大幅值的异变位置,可以定性判断试件焊接初始缺陷位置;弹性阶段,有缺陷焊接试件磁记忆曲线在缺陷处产生明显异变磁记忆信号即波峰-波谷,无缺陷焊接试件则未形成明显异变磁记忆信号.随着荷载增加,两组试件磁场强度法向分量均呈现逐渐减小的趋势;塑性阶段,有缺陷焊接试件缺陷部位异变磁记忆信号发生反转,表征了试件在该位置进入塑性阶段.无缺陷焊接试件在试件接近破坏时曲线才出现反转现象. 展开更多

Electric Vehicle Charging Load Optimization Strategy Based on Dynamic Time-of-Use Tariff

Electric vehicle(EV)is an ideal solution to resolve the carbon emission issue and the fossil fuels scarcity problem in the future.However,a large number of EVs will be concentrated on charging during the valley hours leading to new load peaks under the guidance of static time-of-use tariff.Therefore,this paper proposes a dynamic time-of-use tariff mechanism,which redefines the peak and valley time periods according to the predicted loads using the fuzzy C-mean(FCM)clustering algorithm,and then dynamically adjusts the peak and valley tariffs according to the actual load of each time period.Based on the proposed tariff mechanism,an EV charging optimization model with the lowest cost to the users and the lowest variance of the grid-side load as the objective function is established.Then,a weight selection principle with an equal loss rate of the two objectives is proposed to transform the multi-objective optimization problem into a single-objective optimization problem.Finally,the EV charging load optimization model under three tariff strategies is set up and solved with the mathematical solver GROUBI.The results show that the EV charging load optimization strategy based on the dynamic time-of-use tariff can better balance the benefits between charging stations and users under different numbers and proportions of EVs connected to the grid,and can effectively reduce the grid load variance and improve the grid load curve. 展开更多

The commercialization of Zn batteries is confronted with urgent challenges in the metal anode,such as dendrite formation,capacity loss,and cracking or dissolution.Here,surface interfacial engineering of the Zn anode is introduced for achieving safety and dendritic-free cycling for high-performance aqueous Zn batteries through a simple but highly effective chemical etching-substitution method.The chemical modification induces a rough peak-valley surface with a thin fluorine-rich interfacial layer on the Zn anode surface,which regulates the growth orientation via guiding uniform Zn plating/stripping,significantly enhances accessibility to aqueous electrolytes and improves wettability by reducing surface energy.As a result,such a synergetic surface effect enables uniform Zn plating/stripping with low polarization of 29 m V at a current density of 0.5 m A cm^(-2) with stable cyclic performance up to 1000 h.Further,a full cell composed of a fluorine-substituted Zn anode coupled with aβ-MnO_(2)or Ba-V_(6)O_(13)cathode demonstrates improved capacity retention to 1000 cycles compared to the pristine-Zn cells.The proposed valley deposition model provides the practical direction of surface-modified interfacial chemistries for improving the electrochemical properties of multivalent metal anodes via surface tuning. 展开更多

Increasing railway traffic and energy utilization issues prompt electrified railway systems to be more economical,efficient and sustainable.As regenerative braking energy in railway systems has huge potential for optimized utilization,a lot of research has been focusing on how to use the energy efficiently and gain sustainable benefits.The energy storage system is an alternative because it not only deals with regenerative braking energy but also smooths drastic fluctuation of load power profile and optimizes energy management.In this work,we propose a co-phase traction power supply system with super capacitor(CSS_SC)for the purpose of realizing the function of energy management and power quality management in electrified railways.Besides,the coordinated control strategy is presented to match four working modes,including traction,regenerative braking,peak shaving and valley filling.A corresponding simulation model is built in MATLAB/Simulink to verify the feasibility of the proposed system under dynamic working conditions.The results demonstrate that CSS_SC is flexible to deal with four different working conditions and can realize energy saving within the allowable voltage unbalance of 0.008%in simulation in contrast to 1.3%of the standard limit.With such a control strategy,the performance of super capacitor is controlled to comply with efficiency and safety constraints.Finally,a case study demonstrates the improvement in power fluctuation with the valley-to-peak ratio reduced by 20.3%and the daily load factor increased by 17.9%. 展开更多
